Innovator is a former 29ft regatta yacht designed by the well known Dutch Naval Architect Coos de Ridder, called Solution 29AK, and built by famous Dutch yacht builder Jim Lensveld. During her racing days she sailed under the name "De Vier Gebroeders" and was very succesful in races in The Netherlands. The dimensions of the boat are 8.75 x 3.05 x 1.80 meter.

In 2005 the current owner performed a refit to make the yacht more convenient for family cruising. A Volvo MD2020 engine was added. The 20HP engine drives a 2 blade MaxProp that gives the boat a 7 knots cruising speed under steam. During the renovation, an interior was also built in. This interior offers up to 6 sleeping places, devided in two cabins. In the frontcabin there is a double bed and 2 singles on the dining table benches, and the aft cabin has two seperate beds. The yacht further has a dining area, a large kitchen with 4 burner stove and oven, and sink, a navigation desk and seat, and a toilet with waste water tank. Outside there is a removable cockpit table.

The rigging contains  a 7/8 rigged mast from Briand with a Profurl Racing furling system for the front sails, and has backstays. The main sail and the genua are made by North Sails. The boat is also equiped with a high aspect frontsail, and a working jib, as well as a spinnaker. All deck layout is from Harken Midrange, and contains 6 winches.

In time new electronics were installed. The yacht is equiped with a Simrad AP26 autopilot with Jefa drive and remote control, Simrad NSX 3009 Chart Plotter, Furuno GPS, B&G network (depth, speed, watertemperature, wind, close-hauled wind, NAV, and repeater at the navigation desk inside), Simrad VHF, stereo system (inside and outside), a gas detection alarm, Webasto diesel Heating, refrigerator, a Victron Energy battery charger and 230V converter, 3 Optima batteries, and a Track & Trace system for safety purposes. All lights are LED.

The boat comes with a small (2.05m.) Lodestar tender with Honda 2.3HP outboard engine for longer period charters.

 

Charter options

S.Y. Innovator is available for daytrips at Costa Blanca's Altea, with or without captain, or bareboat for longer periods if you want to sail the islands Ibiza and Formentera, or other parts of the Spanish Costa Blanca.

For bareboat charter (charter without crew) a license and experience are required!

Pricing includes VAT, Insurance, mooring in the Club Nautico Altea, tender, preparing the boat for exit and personal instruction. The boat will be handed over to you with a full diesel tank, and has also to be returned in the same condition.

Cleaning: € 45,- for 1/2 a day or 1 day charter, € 95,- for longer charters

Cancellation charges:

Cancellation 60 days before boarding date: 20% of the total price

Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before boarding date: 40% of the total price

Cancellation during last 30 days before boarding date: 50% of the total price
